Beaches - La Herradura

There are many beaches on the coasta tropical, which is approximately a 25 minute drive from Sol Montana. The main towns are Mortril, Salobrena, Almunecar and Heradurra.

Along the 19km local coastline of the La Herradura beaches visitors can choose from a large variety of beaches and small coves, ranging from fine sand to shingle. Watersports are very popular and there are numerous businesses offering different types of courses and equipment hire.

La Herradura Beach - on the Costa Tropical

La Herradura Beach is the best and prettiest beach in this zone, it spans the 2km of the wonderful La Herradura bay that gives the village of La Herradura its name. This is a beach of fine dark sand.

La Herradura Calaiza Beach - on the Costa Tropical

Calaiza Beach is located by a succession of small coves and very difficult to access which is why it is very rarely visited. It is a paradise of a beach, calm and with a few zones to dive, incredible and wonderful.

La Herradura Cantarrijan Beach - on the Costa Tropical

Cantarrijan Beach is the last beach in Granada, on the border with the province of Malaga. A beach with several coves of approximately 340 metres wide.
